The stories about the Chauke Family were written to coincide with the 2010 Soccer World Cup.

The stories are about the Chauke children, Khazamula, Khanyisa and Misaveni.

Khanyisa and Khazamula are soccer players, Misaveni is an artist.  In the stories issues that are dealt with include gender issues, attitudes to the disabled and xenophobia.

The stories are suitable for learners at the primary and junior secondary levels.

Teachers can read the stories on the website and if they want copies of the stories, they can email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. and I will email back copies.

The format of the stories as they appear on the website has been distorted in the uploading process and I would prefer people to have copies of the stories that reflect the way I have written them.
